Baptism Tonight

I get to baptize one of our Oakwood 101 attendees tonight. It's always an exciting time to see a person commit to the Lord and be baptized. This is one of the great joys of being in ministry, to be a part of the act of baptism and to watch someone grow in faith in the Lord. So, if you're reading this, rejoice that a brother is being baptized and pray for him as he grows in his relationship with his Savior. Don't forget to thank Jesus for the grace and mercy that He offers each one of us. We are His kids and He loves us.

As a side note, the campaign letter and commitment cards were mailed and everyone in the church should be getting one of those today or tomorrow. I already received a call today from someone that had received the letter and was excited about this Sunday. I'm excited about this weekend too. I believe that God and His Spirit are going to do some amazing things in our hearts this weekend. Be sure not to miss it.
